CHOOSE THE RIGHT PANEL
Flexible or rigid glass—matched to your RV.
Roof shape, available space, weight, mounting surface, shade, serviceability, and charging goals all influence the best panel type. We review the complete installation before recommending equipment.
01 / RIGID GLASS PANELS
Framed panels for durable, serviceable installations
Rigid glass panels are a proven choice for many RV, van, and travel-trailer roofs when mounting space and structure allow.
• Raised mounting can provide airflow beneath the panel
• Framed construction supports secure mechanical mounting
• Panel layout designed around vents, air conditioners, and roof access
• Serviceable mounting and wiring planned into the installation
02 / FLEXIBLE PANELS
Low-profile solar for curved or weight-sensitive surfaces
Flexible panels can be a strong fit where a traditional framed panel is impractical or where a lower-profile installation is preferred.
• Useful on select curved or limited roof areas
• Lower weight than many framed glass panels
• Mounting method selected for the roof material and panel requirements
• Planned for heat management, cable routing, and future service

RIGID GLASS OPTION
Renogy 400W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel
A high-output, framed glass option for installations with suitable roof space, structure, and mounting access.

FLEXIBLE OPTION
BougeRV Arch Pro 200W ShadePower N-Type
A lightweight, low-profile flexible panel designed for compatible curved or irregular mounting surfaces.

Charge control
Compatible MPPT charging selected and configured for the array and battery chemistry.
We select panel type and array size around the usable roof area, battery-bank voltage and capacity, solar-controller limits, expected daily loads, and the amount of time you spend off-grid.
Protected wiring
Weather-resistant roof entry, correct conductor sizing, fusing, disconnects, and secure routing.
System monitoring
Charging performance integrated with compatible battery and power-system monitoring.
VICTRON SOLAR CHARGING
Victron MPPT solar charge controllers.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30
100-volt maximum PV open-circuit voltage with 30-amp rated charging.
01
Correct controller sizing
Array voltage, current, panel wiring, battery-bank voltage, and expected conditions are evaluated together before the controller is selected.
Built to work together.
Victron MPPT charging can be integrated with lithium batteries, Victron MultiPlus inverter/chargers, and compatible monitoring equipment for a more complete off-grid power system.
02
Battery-matched charging
Charging settings are configured for the installed battery chemistry and coordinated with applicable battery-management requirements.
A Victron MPPT controller manages the power coming from the solar array and converts it into controlled battery charging. We select and configure the controller as part of the complete array, battery, inverter, and monitoring system.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50
100-volt maximum PV open-circuit voltage with 50-amp rated charging.

03
Victron monitoring
Compatible monitoring can show solar production, charging activity, battery conditions, and overall system performance in one coordinated view.
04
Protected integration
Proper conductors, overcurrent protection, disconnects, grounding, and cable routing are included in the installation plan.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
Designed as part of the complete power system.
1
Energy review
We estimate daily use and determine how solar should support your batteries and travel routine.
Â
Solar output varies. Actual charging depends on panel orientation, shade, weather, season, roof temperature, battery state, and system configuration. Equipment recommendations and mounting methods are subject to inspection and manufacturer requirements.
Â
2
Roof survey
We inspect usable space, roof condition, obstacles, shading, mounting options, and wire paths.
3
Installation
Panels, wiring, roof entry, charge control, protection, and monitoring are installed as one system.
4
Testing & handoff
We verify charging performance and show you how to monitor and operate the completed system.
